Getting started with Marketing

The past week, my main focus was getting my first assessment done and submitted. This assessment was a career outlook assessment for marketing, advertising, and promotions managers. Although this is my second year in ISM and I did study a little bit of business with biotech last year, I wanted to do a career assessment over marketing specifically to get a feel for that specific career pathway. I already have my professional dress from last year so I did not have to worry about shopping for something new this year. 

This week, I want to focus mainly on creating an annotated bibliography of sources that I want to research and complete research assessments on. I want to start by looking at the different types of marketing that companies use and move on to studying specific marketing tactics so I have a good understanding of marketing by the time interviews come around.
